On March 7, the government of Ukraine adopted a document obliging families with underage children to evacuate from war zones. First of all, this is important for the sake of saving the children themselves. We remind you that in frontline Avdiivka, a 6-year-old girl, Elya, died of a heart attack.
The regional military administration of the town of Slovyansk in the Donetsk region ordered all families with minor children to take their children out of the town on the territory of Ukraine, where are no hostilities and children will not watch the war from the window. Parents who will not evacuate their children will be deprived of parental rights, and the children will be placed under the care of the state.
“Therefore, now it will happen in this way: if these families do not leave before April 14, then, unfortunately, such an action will have to be taken. Then the children will be in social institutions, in a safe city, until they are placed in families that will accept them,” the head of the Sloviansk military administration Vadym Lyakh.
We remind you that the same conditions have been introduced in 2 other towns of the Donetsk region: Chasiv Yar and Bakhmut. Chasiv Yar evacuated all the children, and 32 more children remained in the Bakhmut.
By the way, before the war in Bakhmut used to live 84.000 people, and now — 3.000.
