On December 8-9, Kuleba hosted an official meeting in Britain with British Foreign minister Elizabeth Truss. This meeting is considered a preparatory meeting for the strategic partnership dialogue. Preparations for the discussion are essential, as it is a new format and a step in Ukrainian-British relations.
As a result of the meeting, ministers had agreed on the visit of the British prime minister to Ukraine. The visit of prime minister Boris Jonson to Ukraine is scheduled for 2022
The meeting also devoted a great deal of time to energy and visa issues. As a result of bilateral negotiations, it was decided that the United Kingdom, together with Ukraine, was beginning to draw up a step-by-step plan to simplify the travel regime for citizens of both countries.
At the end of the meeting, the Ukraine Ministry of foreign affairs also shared that time was devoted to investment issues during the sessions. Namely about Ukraine's investment opportunities.
During the business meeting, Kuleba and Elizabeth Truss also discussed strengthening Ukrainian-British relations in the political, commercial, and economic spheres. The meeting was held in a light atmosphere, and Kuleba rushed to summarize the discussion.
