According to the Ministry of economy, the representative of Ukraine Oleksii Lyubchenko and the representative of Canada, Larysa Galadza, agreed to start negotiations on revising the agreement to analyze the further development and deepening of its provisions and extending its action to uncovered areas, in particular, such as cross-border trade in services, financial services, investment, telecommunications, and other subject areas.
Also, representatives of Ukraine and Canada discussed judicial reform issues in Ukraine, the continuation of the corporate governance reform and selection processes for representatives of supervisory boards in enterprises important for the economy, issues of privatization, energy efficiency, etc.
