“Rheinmetall” Sends Non-Lethal Aid to Ukraine

The German concern for the production of weapons gave Ukraine a field hospital

This became known from a post on the official Rheinmetall page on the social network X (formerly Twitter). The mobile hospital was designed to provide emergency care in the field. It can work as a full-fledged hospital with an X-ray apparatus, tomographic equipment, a laboratory, a pharmacy, and an inpatient department. The inpatient unit can accommodate 8 soldiers requiring intensive care and 32 ordinary patients. In addition, Rheinmetall reports that the household hospital for Ukraine has equipment for the production of medicines, water supply, toilets, etc. It is not the 1st time when Ukrainian medics have received humanitarian aid from Rheinmetall.

The German concern will also provide everything necessary for the transportation of a mobile hospital. The plant management will also provide about 10 trucks to transport equipment, etc. The hospital can be used for its intended purpose after arrival in Ukraine. 10 paramedics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already learned the procedure of the assembly and operation of the contents.

Such a hospital is very appropriate on the battlefield. This helps to save the lives of Ukrainian soldiers who were injured defending their homeland. In addition, Rheinmetall has been helping Kyiv since the beginning of the war. Soon, Ukraine and Rheinmetall will open a joint plant for the production of armoured vehicles.
