The Ministry of digital transformation of Ukraine announced that for the next 6 months, Ukrainians who fled the war can communicate unlimitedly with their families in Ukraine on the basis of common roaming with EU countries. After this period, euroroaming tariffs can be extended for another period. In addition, it is possible to update Appendix 17-3 on European roaming Roam like at home for an extended period and without paying membership fees for the war period.
The decision was made on February 2 during a meeting of ministers and European commissioners who arrived in Kyiv with Ursula von der Leyen.
Today, Ukraine is working on the launch of 5G and its integration with transport 5G in Europe. In turn, EU representatives noted the progress of Ukrainian engineers and IT experts in this area and urged them not to stop on the path of improving telecom services.
