Russian journalist of RIA Novosti tried to comment on the US House of Representatives speaker, Kevin McCarthy. The journalist gave the politician a deliberately falsely formulated question: "I know that you do not support unlimited and uncontrolled supplies of weapons and Ukraine, and is it possible that your position will change in the near future."
Speaker Kevin McCarthy, answering from the podium of a press conference in Israel, answered:
"Did he say I don't support aid to Ukraine? No, I vote for aid for Ukraine. I support aid for Ukraine. I do not support what your country has done to Ukraine. I do not support your killing of the children either. And I think for one stam point: you should pull out. And I don't think it's right. We will continue to support because the rest of the world sees it just the way it is," Kevin McCarthy.
It is worth noting that RIA Novosti is a Russian media outlet that is under sanctions due to its manipulative nature and high level of propaganda. And it was this "news" resource that published an article stating that Ukraine does not exist and the population of its territory must be destroyed.
