This weekend in the capital of France, hundreds of people came out for a peaceful demonstration, the purpose of which was not only to express support for Ukraine but also to put forward a demand to recognize Russia as a terrorist state and bring the perpetrators to justice.
What goal did the participants of the support march outline:
- To provide Ukraine with all the necessary weapons for its victory;
- Officially recognized Russia as a terrorist state;
- Strengthen and expand sanctions against Russia and its citizens.
The rally participants did not ignore the pro-Russian policy of Thierry Mariani, a member of the European Parliament. The MEP from Marine Le Pen's party, who was also scandalized by her love for Putin, has repeatedly spoken out in favour of recognizing the annexation of Crimea and made many illegal visits to the annexed peninsula. The demonstrates called him an accomplice.
