Russia Prepares Cyberattacks on Ukraine

DDoS attacks will be directed at the critical infrastructure of Ukraine, as well as the structures of Poland and the Baltic countries

The Main intelligence directorate of the Ministry of defence of Ukraine reports a new wave of cyberattacks from Russia. Such attacks by Russia have been passed on to its attack on Ukraine.

This time, DDoS will be aimed at deterring the Ukrainian counteroffensive. According to the MID, attacks will be subject not only to the structures of Ukraine but also to the countries that help us — Poland and the Baltics.

"First of all, the strike will be directed at the energy industry enterprises. By doing this, the enemy will try to enhance the effect of missile strikes on power supply facilities, primarily in the eastern and southern regions of Ukraine," Main intelligence directorate of Ukraine. 

Intelligence reports that the Russians will use the same tools against Ukraine's energy structure in 2015-16.
