After the capture of the Kherson region, the occupiers launched an offensive against the Mykolaiv region. It should be noted that the Russian Federation has been shelling the Mykolaiv region with missiles since the first days of the war. This corresponds to their tactic — scorched earth.
However, the artillery is now in the area and is shelling the local population daily.
On the afternoon of June 4, the mayor of Mykolaiv told about another shelling. Oleksandr Sienkevych stated that the occupiers had damaged the Korabelny district of the city. The Russian invaders opened fire on three high-rise buildings. All 3 houses were houses for Ukrainians. There was no military or ammunition, no strategic hubs.
Russian artillery shells killed three people. Two died on the spot. Another Ukrainian before his death suffered unbearable pain from injuries. He died in an ambulance. Four more residents of high-rise buildings were injured by shrapnel. They are assisted by medical doctors.
The occupiers are particularly cruel to areas and people who are resisting Russia’s plans. On 1 April, Russian missiles destroyed another residential building. 29 people were killed in the missile attack.
