On August 7, the Russians used Kinzhal hypersonic missiles against military facilities in the territory of the city of Vinnytsia. It is known that missiles of this type are fired from MiG-31 fighters or Tu-22M3 and Tu-160 bombers. To use the rocket, the plane goes into the upper atmosphere. A missile launched on a ballistic trajectory can reach a speed of more than 12.000 km/h. This is the most modern missile in Russia's service, and it is known that only a few dozen of them have been released since the launch of the Kinzhal missile technology.
Therefore, the Russians use them only against very important (in their opinion) targets. Russia already used these missiles against Odesa on May 9.
