Britain declared that the Russian Ministry of defense confirmed the use in Ukraine of heavy flamethrower systems (ТОС-1А) using thermobaric missiles
"The Russian Ministry of Defense has confirmed the use of the ТОС-1А weapon system in Ukraine. ТОС-1А uses thermobaric missiles, creating incendiary and explosive effects," the message says.
The British agency added that the weapon has a "crushing effect."
Thermobaric weapons actually suck in oxygen from the surrounding air to create a higher temperature explosion than conventional bombs.
