Minister of defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov spoke at the online conference Forbes Build Together. Within the framework of this event, the future of Ukraine, its restoration, and its timing were discussed. But, of course, before talking about reconstruction, it is necessary to end the war. This is the topic with which Reznikov spoke to his audience.
According to the minister, there are three options for ending the Russian-Ukrainian confrontation. All scenarios specialist considers basic.
The Russian Federation will make a "goodwill gesture" and will move to the borders that Ukraine had before 24 February 2022. The minister of defense of Ukraine considers such a scenario as an opportunity to move to negotiations on the status of the Donbas and Crimea. Reznikov notes that such an end to the war will be supported by partners and a negotiating table.
Reznikov also named another option to end the war. According to the Minister, the Ukrainian army can slowly but effectively fight the Russian soldiers. At the same time, the Ukrainian politician understands that Russia has an advantage in weapons and numbers but uses an outdated method of struggle — throwing people "under the grinding". Therefore, Ukraine may exhaust Russia. Especially with foreign support.
The last scenario from the Ukrainian minister is a dramatic loss. Reznikov suggests that Russia could disintegrate into several different subjects — Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, etc. The head of the Ukrainian defense minister is also sure that if the disintegration of Russia is not the result of the war in Ukraine, it will happen anyway, only a little later.
