The German sportswear, footwear, and accessories company left the terrorist country. Branded shoes and clothes can no longer be bought in stores or on the internet. The reason for the exit is obvious — sanctions and Russian aggression in Ukraine.
At the same time, Adidas could not just leave Russia. A large company was immediately accused of a crime. Alexander Khaminsky, head of the law enforcement centre of the Moscow region, said that Adidas did not pay taxes and owed the state $164.2 million.
"Adidas, a German clothing manufacturer in Russia, is not in debt to the Russian budget," so the brand spokesman commented on the accusation.
Despite the charges, all stores are closed. It is also impossible to make a purchase abroad with delivery to Russia. Russians will no longer be able to wear branded clothes. They will have to resort to the long-known method — copying clothes. For example, to recall the years of ridiculed copies and replicas with Abibas inscriptions instead of Adidas.
