Russians Forbid Ukrainians To Move Without 3 Passes

Ukrainians are forced to go through Russian filtration camps, from which not everyone leaves alive or returns home

Ombudsman of Ukraine Lyudmyla Denysova reported blatant violations of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and the European Convention on Human Rights in the Temporarily Occupied Territories.

The Russians are forcing Ukrainians to receive 2 passes and 1 certificate, to pass illegal and cruel filtration camps. Otherwise, it is forbidden to move through the streets of the hometown for Ukrainians. We remind you that the Russians are also threatening to shoot Ukrainians who move through the streets without white armbands.

"First, you have to pass the "check" in one of the "mia" district departments in Mangush, Novoazovsk, Nykolsky, or at the checkpoints Mangush and Bezimenne. After that, Mariupol residents need to apply to the so-called Mariupol commandant's office with a certificate and get a travel permit within the Donetsk region," Lyudmyla Denysova said.

Thus, to have the right to move freely through their homeland, Ukrainians are forced to go through extremely dangerous occupier "administrations" and obtain a certificate of "filtration", a permit to move through the city streets, and a permit to move outside Mariupol. The worst is that those who do not pass the "filtration" — disappear. The whereabouts of those who did not like the occupiers are unknown. It is also unknown whether they are alive.

The UN Commission must consider the facts of human rights violations by the Russian occupiers and the inhuman treatment of Ukrainian citizens in the temporarily occupied territories of our state.
