Commissioner for human rights of Ukraine Lyudmila Denisova, on her Facebook, told one of the horrific cases of Russians' attitude toward Ukrainian.
The 17-year-old girl's grandmother called the hotline for psychological assistance to the victims of rape.
Irpin. 3 Russians entered the family home, where a mother and 2 daughters, aged 15 and 17, stayed at the time. All the family was brutally beaten. A 15-year-old girl and her mother were collectively raped, and a 17-year-old girl was forced to watch. The Russians said they would not rape her because she is "ugly". A 15-year-old mother and girl died from beatings and gang injuries. The older sister was left alive with the words "live and pass on to others." The city was blocked. For 4 days, the girl lived locked in a house with the corpses of her mother and younger sister. When the opportunity arose, the girl ran away to her grandmother.
Psychologists are currently working with the girl.
“Since April 1, more than 400 people have applied for a special helpline from the commissioner for psychological assistance, which was established with the support of UNICEF. Most of the appeals are related to sexual crimes committed by the Russian military. Their number is growing every day,” Lyudmila Denisova.
