Oleg Ustenko, the presidential adviser on economic issues, made a statement according to which Ukraine can now count on an amount of about 400-500 billion. These are assets blocked under the global package of sanctions against the Kremlin.
"This amount includes the assets of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in the amount of $300 billion, which have already been frozen in the West. Another $100 billion can be obtained from the frozen assets of Putin's inner circle — they will be combined into a material fund, and debt obligations will be issued against them. In addition to this, revenues are expected from international partners and international institutions", Oleg Ustenko.
We also remind you that as of the beginning of the week, the losses caused by Russia to Ukraine during the war amounted to at least $650 billion. Therefore, after the end of the week, Russia will pay reparations to Ukraine.
