On July 16, Joe Biden paid a business visit to Ruler Mohammed bin Salman of Riyadh. As a result of the meeting, 18 agreements were reached in the fields of energy, healthcare, investment, space, and support for Ukraine.
The parties agreed on the need for maximum assistance in unlocking Ukrainian grain and providing assistance to the people of the state.
"The leaders of the countries reaffirmed their commitment to helping the Ukrainian people and ensuring the unhindered export of grain and wheat to mitigate the consequences of the global food crisis that threatens a number of Middle Eastern and African states," the communiqué says after the meeting.
One of the most important points of the meeting was the decision by Mohammed bin Salman Riyadh to maintain the stability of the oil market of the world, in which there is no place for the oil blackmail of the Kremlin.
"Both sides noted the importance of strategic economic and investment cooperation, especially against the backdrop of the current crisis in Ukraine and its consequences, and reaffirmed their commitment to a stable global energy market," the communiqué said.
The United States and Saudi Arabia also agreed to create reliable multidirectional energy supply routes.
