On April 28, the ministers of the infrastructure of Ukraine (Olexandr Kubrakov) and Moldova (Lilia Dabizha) made changes to the protocol on cross-border railway transport and customs. According to the changes, the parties recorded a mutual agreement on a duty-free train between the states if the points of the A/B route are Ukraine/Moldova and the destination is a third country. For example, Poland.
Abolition of the need to pass customs control between Fricacei-Etulia and Reni-Giurgiulesti and in the reverse direction will increase the capacity of the new main port hub of Ukraine — Danube. Simplification of transportation will contribute to the acceleration of logistics and the development of new infrastructure.
We remind you that Ukraine and Moldova will be included in the common European TEN-T.
