Smartflower is a popular method of generating green energy in Europe and the United States. The name of the system describes the species. The design resembles a large sunflower, which, like a natural prototype, absorbs sunlight and rotates behind it. The solar power plant can provide 40% more energy than ordinary solar panels and produce from 4.000 to 6.200 kW per year. The solar battery is stored every evening, and the cleaning process is in progress.
Smartflower was installed in the Western part of Ukraine, Ternopil city. The city head Serhii Nadal said that building such a system in the country became possible thanks to the Ukrainian Energy Engineering Company. This company has started cooperation with the Austrian-American company Smart Flower Solar. According to the head of Ternopil, the partnership helps European approach standards and becomes more independent from the aggressor country of Russia.
Despite all that is happening in the country, the partners are already planning the following joint projects. Ukraine is planning to install similar energy systems. They will be placed in communal institutions and other institutions in other cities.
