The office of the prime minister of Spain said that the Ukrainian army will soon receive a new package of military assistance. The report says that a Spanish military aircraft has already departed in the direction of Ukraine. On board is a dozen pallet of large-calibre ammunition. The aid included ammunition for large-calibre field artillery.
Spain has been active in the fight against the Russian aggressor. Just last week, four planes with military supplies for Ukraine left Spanish airports. The military assistance consisted of some 20 armoured vehicles, field artillery ammunition, and a full air defence battery, as well as 1.000 tons of diesel. Madrid also promised to provide the Ukrainian army with winter clothes.
Spanish defence minister Margarita Robles said that this is not all the help. The department will send Kyiv a truck with medical equipment at the request of Ukrainian colleague Oleksii Reznikov, expressed during the meeting in Prague.
