The Ministry of digital transformation of Ukraine and the Deposit guarantee fund are launching a new option to support Ukrainian depositors. Very soon, clients of banks that have been declared bankrupt will be able to return their savings through Diia. In order to take advantage of the opportunity, you need to open the Diia app or the portal, fill out an application and receive compensation for lost funds.
The option is valid for 1.4 million accounts at bankrupt banks. The total amount of compensation for hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians affected is ≈ ₴3.2 billion.
In addition to filling out the application, the client has the opportunity to open an account with eSupport, which also works under the protection of the Deposit guarantee fund.
