OSCE Mission implements tools to strengthen cybersecurity in state institutions in Ukrainian ministries

On September 30, a meeting of OSCE members and civil servants was held, at which an online program on the basics of cybersecurity, a training center and a group of teachers were presented.

"Through sustainable cyber hygiene practices, organizations and government agencies are better able to secure their information systems, as this determines everyone's role in protecting their network and resources from hackers," said OSCE project coordinator in Ukraine Henryk Villadsen.

Melinda Simmons, the British Ambassador to Ukraine, announced the inclusion of Fundamentals of cyber ​​security in the permanent training program for civil servants.

According to deputy minister of digital transformation Valeria Ionan, about 50,000 Ukrainians are registered on the educational platform Diia. Digital Education and most Ukrainian statesmen have learned cyber hygiene through the Ministry of digital transformation and the OSCE.

The National Civil Service Agency forecasts 6.5 thousand new students in 2022-23.

The program was implemented by the OSCE project coordinator in Ukraine in cooperation with the National agency for civil Service affairs of Ukraine and the Ukrainian School of management with the financial support of the Ministry of foreign affairs and the Commonwealth of Great Britain and the German Ministry of foreign affairs.
