This 15th aid package from Sweden encompasses a variety of defense assets, including the CB90-class fast landing craft, RBS 70 MANPADS, artillery ammunition, anti-tank equipment, grenade launchers, hand grenades, and medical transport vehicles. Additionally, the package includes funding for Ukraine to procure new Swedish CV 90 infantry fighting vehicles.
Allocated directly from the reserves of the Swedish Armed Forces, the specifics of this generous aid package have yet to be formally announced by Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Christensen and Defense Minister Paul Johnson. To date, Sweden has contributed over $2.13 billion in arms and equipment to support Ukraine since the onset of the full-scale invasion. Moreover, Sweden has indicated readiness to supply Ukraine with modern JAS 39 Gripen fighters, contingent upon Ukraine's full membership in NATO.
