The representative of Sweden announced the preparation of CV-90 armoured vehicles, which are on NATO defence. This infantry vehicle is considered the most advanced weapon for destroying enemy personnel and tanks. The armoured vehicle is equipped with a 40 mm gun. The CV-90 includes a landing party of 8 units.
"We will continue to support Ukraine as long as necessary. We already have a deeper understanding of your operational needs. We discussed some of Sweden's supplies for Ukraine that contain CV-90," said Jonson.
The minister also said they are working on the pace of the latest tanks, Archer and artillery installations. Pal Jonson notes that when these weapons are transferred to Kyiv, the Ukrainian army will be able to use its complex move according to its plans for defence and offensive.
The Ministry of defence of Ukraine thanked the partners for the already approved assistance package. They noted that this is not the first time the Swedish government has sent powerful military assistance.
