The train arrived from Belarus, where it was built at the facilities of JSC Stadler Minsk. Obviously, this is due to the implementation of the previously announced City Express project. It all started with the fact that the national railway service Ukrzaliznytsia and a Swiss company signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in May.
Stadler Rail AG is a large Swiss manufacturer with over 12,000 employees and over a huge amount of factories. The company manufactures trams, metro trains, suburban and high-speed trains, railway and shunting locomotives, as well as passenger cars. The company produces vehicles for more than 20 factories.
Earlier, Stadler chose the location for the deployment of a plant for the production of electric trains in Ukraine and is ready to provide electric trains for testing in Ukraine. The train is very comfortable and spacious, with 262 seats for 1st and 2nd class. A pleasant option for the passage of passengers with disabilities.
