Before the deal, the companies had been partners for over 10 years. Jelastic founder and CEO Ruslan Sinitskii will become Virtuozzo CTO. For example, Virtuozzo containers have been used in Jelastic's PaaS solution from the very beginning of the platform's development.
Virtuozzo expects through the purchase of Jelastic to strengthen its position in the multi-cloud and PaaS services market. This market (PaaS) in 2022 is estimated at $71 billion (according to Gartner).
