Today a dialogue took place between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Emmanuel Macron. The president of Ukraine thanked his French counterpart for his support at the level of the European political community and in the UN Security Council, which is now headed by the aggressor country Russia.
Zelenskyy informed Macron about the details of the disaster in Kherson, provoked by the explosion of the dam in Nova Kakhovka. The president of Ukraine also informed about the items needed to eliminate the tragedy and help the victims. The parties agreed to advance the investigation into the causes of the disaster, which, as we know, was created by the Russian army.
President Zelenskyy spoke about the agreements with Rafael Grossi to strengthen monitoring of the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, nuclear reactors that were previously cooled from the Kakhovka reservoir. We remind you that the explosion of the dam released thousands of tons of water, and now this water has drowned dozens of towns.
The residents discussed cooperation in the field of training Ukrainian pilots, protecting the skies over Ukraine, security guarantees for Ukraine, and expectations from the upcoming Global Peace Summit.
