The 12th Danish Military Aid Package

On September 6, Danish PM Mette Frederiksen announced a new military package during a visit to Kyiv

The representative of the Kingdom of Denmark announced the continuation of support and strengthening of the Ukrainian army during a press conference with the media. A military aid package will be formed and sent to Kyiv within a month. Mette Frederiksen and Volodymyr Zelenskyy identified its necessity and state during negotiations.

The president of Ukraine noted that the Danish government had already provided Ukraine's armed forces with $1.6 billion worth of equipment over a year and a half of the war. On September 6, the politicians also discussed additional weapons needed to confront the Russian troops and defend the country's port and city infrastructure and mine-clearing machines.

"We have agreements to localize the production of demining machines. I also raised this issue with the prime minister of Denmark today. Maybe we can work in this direction with Danish companies," said Zelenskyy.

Note that Denmark now trains Ukrainian pilots to operate F-16 combat aircraft and is preparing to open its embassy in Ukraine. This partnership at all levels shows that Ukraine remains an essential link in European development, even in a state of war and suffering.
