The 20 February: Day of Memory of Heavenly Hundred

On 11 February 2015, was adopted a decree according to which Ukraine had a day of remembrance of the first heroes of the Maidan

February 20 marked the day of remembrance of the brave Ukrainians who came to the Revolution of Dignity and gave their lives for Ukrainian freedom. On this day in Ukraine, remember the feat of the participants of the Revolution of Dignity 2013-2014, especially the first 107 dead – Heavenly Hundred. It should be noted that almost all those killed during the protests were students. They fought for the independence of the country and the European way. Unfortunately, the regime led by former president Yanukovych was an assistant to the Kremlin and led the country to the Moskovia regime.

The heroes of the Heavenly Hundred have not allowed turning Ukraine into Belarus and what is now happening in it.

The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, also noted the feat of ordinary Ukrainians. According to him, the struggle for justice continues and now.

"Defending Ukraine now, we remember that our strength and fortitude are based on the strength and strength of many Ukrainians who have not given up, dreamed, and acted for Ukraine's survival. Glory to everyone and everyone who is now fighting for our state! Blessed memory to all who gave their lives to Ukraine and Ukrainians! Eternal respect to the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred! Glory to Ukraine," said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Ukrainian struggle for democracy began in 2013. Ukrainians remember the feat of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred not only on February 20.
