The Lublin government actively supports Ukraine in the confrontation with the aggressor and helps Ukrainians to have everything necessary for life even during the war. Therefore, the Polish city has become a "brother" to Lviv, Lutsk, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Starobilske, and free of occupation power Luhansk.
On February 2, representatives of Lublin decided to become a "sister city" front-line Kryvyi Rih. This is already the 9th Ukrainian city with which Lublin concludes a partnership agreement. This decision was made by the city council of Lublin. In addition, Polish partners are preparing to transfer to Kryvyi Rih generator of large capacity Protection Civile.
The mayor of Lublin, Krzysztof Zhuk, said that against the background of the war, they should strengthen cooperation and help their partners all possible. It is worth noting that the government of Kryvyi Rih and Lublin 2017 signed a document with the intention of cooperation. All this time the cities supported and helped develop each other. Now, this cooperation is official.
