Glovo is developing a dark store project and launching its first micro fulfillment center in Ukraine.
Spanish startup Glovo continues to implement its business development models, including dark stores. This model provides for the opening of special micro fulfillment centers with products of a certain range, which can be ordered in the Glovo application. Upon receipt of the order notification, the pickers working in the dark store collect it and send it to couriers for delivery to users. Such centers are closed to city residents and are created exclusively for users of the Glovo delivery service.
Currently, the dark store offers about five hundred assortment items, including products of the following categories: groceries, sweets and snacks, fruits and vegetables, meat and sausages, fish and seafood, dairy products and eggs, children's products, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, animal products, and personal care products.
