On August 12, in Kyiv, was held a meeting between the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, general Valerii Zaluzhny, and the head of the British Defense staff, admiral Sir Tony Radakin.
"We carried out work at one of the command posts, familiarized Admiral Radakin in detail with the situation on the battlefield, with our offensive and defensive actions. We discussed the urgent needs of the Ukrainian army," Zaluzhnyi in Telegram.
