On March 25, Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Serhiш Knyazev authoritatively stated that Russia would not abandon attempts to cordon off Kyiv. However, there will be no such situation as in Mariupol.
"Given the nature of the hostilities, we can be absolutely sure that the enemy will not abandon attempts to encircle Kyiv," пeneral Knyazev believes.
According to Knyazev, the Russians have developed a two-level plan, where the basis is the encirclement of the city and the cutting off highways, and part two is the issuance of ultimatums to the government of Ukraine and blackmail.
However, the Ukrainian army, unlike the Russian one, draws conclusions from each situation and does not allow the repetition of the same situations. Therefore, Russia will never get Kyiv and Ukraine.
