The Occupiers Robbed the “Guinness Book of Records”

Russian military tortured to death Ukrainian, included in the "Guinness Book of Records"

The World Record Book has existed since 1955. About 90 Ukrainians were able to enter the history of the directory, which is updated every year. Unfortunately, there are many fewer live residents from Ukraine because many were in the World Record Book in adulthood. Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, there have been even fewer. The occupying forces have taken the life of a young man. As it turned out, they were a marathon runner Serhii Pronevich. The athlete overcame the marathon distance in full military ammunition in 4 hours 36 minutes and entered the book of records.

Serhii Pronevich entered the Book of Records of Ukraine in 2019. Note that the Ukrainian directory is a partner with the accreditation of the World Record Book since 2002.

The guy lived in the Sumy region. The Russian military kidnapped a young athlete. Nothing was known about his whereabouts for a week. Perhaps the body of the record holder would have been found later, but the Ukrainian military managed to liberate the village of Boromlia.

Serhii’s death was not easy. According to the first examination of the body, the guy was tortured in a brutal way.

"Stunned by the terrible news about a guy from Sumy, who was tortured and killed by the Russian military. His body was found a week after Boromli was released. It is incredibly difficult to write about this, but it turned out to be the record holder of Ukraine Sergey Pronevich," wrote the head of the national record registry of Ukraine Lana Vetrova.

Such news terrifies and proves that the Russians have come to exterminate the nation of the Ukrainians.
