July 1, Saturday. Spanish prime minister Pedro Sanchez arrived in Kyiv. This became known from Twitter of the politician:
"Already in Kyiv. I wanted the first act of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU to be in Ukraine together with Zelenskyy. I will transfer to his government and parliament all the European solidarity. We will maintain our support for the Ukrainian people until peace returns to Europe," Pedro Sanchez.
Sanchez's whereabouts at this second are unknown. Most likely, the minister's schedule will include visits to Bucha, Irpin, as well as a memorial to the soldiers who died in this war.
Negotiations between Ukraine and Spain's leaders will be held in the evening.
