The Polynesian State Created a Coin in Honor of the Warriors of “Azovstal”

The $5 Niue silver coin sells for €279.90

The Pacific island-state of Niue minted a Warrior of Azovstal coin designed by Ukrainian artist Maxim Palenok. Katina is called Mariupol Azovstal, and it depicts an AFU warrior wearing a helmet from the Azovstal plant. According to the masters of the coin, this coinage is a symbol of the resistance of the soldiers who defended not only Azovstal but all of Ukraine. On the eagle of the coin, there is a trace of a bullet hit.

"The Ukrainian soldiers that resisted in Azovstal are proof that putting up against a powerful aggressor has and will always right. May their heroic feats never be forgotten with this commemorative piece," according to Top World Coins.

The coins were sold out in less than 2 days and are no longer available for purchase on official platforms.

Earlier, Latvia, Estonia, the USA and the Vatican issued coins in support of Ukraine.
