The Prospering Future of Agricultural Crops: In Ukraine Сorn Production in 2021/22 will Reach its Maximum Level

As predicted by American analysts, the next year will be a record one in the context of Ukrainian corn production.

According to the USDA, as well as the president of the Ukrainian Agricultural Business Club Alex Littis, Ukrainian farmers will produce 37.5 million tons of corn more, in comparison with last year. Such results are considered to be the most productive over the past 5 years, and this is due to the fact that the yield indicators are 21% higher.

“This is indeed a record figure, because Ukraine has never received such results,”  says Alex Lissitsa.

Such news is primarily related to weather conditions that have improved, compared to the previous years. In particular, wet soil pushes forward an opportunity to build business in Agro Sector.

“In order to get the projected gross corn harvest and yields, now we just have to hope for the continuation of such warm and humid temperatures in the coming months,”  the expert adds.

According to Agrotrade, the situation with crops in their enterprises will be much more promising: about 17 thousand hectares will be allotted for corn. However, the prospect is also predicted for wheat sowing 16 thousand hectares will be allotted, and 11 thousand hectares for sunflower. This news is extremely relevant for those who want to build an enterprise or  form an international partnership with Ukraine.
