Recently, on Twitter, Ned Price congratulated Ukraine on court reform. In his opinion, such changes will improve the future for all Ukrainians.
"We welcome the adoption by the Ukrainian parliament of court reform laws with the firm support of the president of Ukraine," the diplomat tweeted. United States officials hope that such reforms will strengthen Ukrainian state institutions and make them more transparent.
Earlier, the European Union also welcomed the adopted laws in the court process. Thus, the determination of the leadership of Ukraine was marked by the vice president of the European Commission for Interdepartmental Relations and Forecasting Marosh Shefchovych. It will be recalled that in compliance with the recommendations of the Venice Commission and the strengthening of the court system, Ukraine was promised the second tranche of macro-financial assistance.
On Wednesday, the Ukrainian parliament passed a law amending some laws of Ukraine on the procedure for electing members of the High Council of Justice, which provides for the reform of the agency.
On July 13, the parliament adopted the law On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges and some laws of Ukraine on the resumption of the work of the High Qualifications Commission of Judges of Ukraine concerning amendments to Articles 188-32 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
