European leaders say they are adamant against Russia's war, which is not only killing Ukrainians, destroying Ukraine's infrastructure and economy, but also leading to a global economic crisis and famine.
"Leaders discussed the need to work together to change the international energy architecture and reduce dependence on Russian hydrocarbons. They agreed that there could be no weakening of Western determination until the horror of Ukraine is over," the British government said in a statement.
The United States said it had "reaffirmed its determination to continue to raise the price for Russia for its brutal attacks in Ukraine, and to continue to provide Ukraine with the means to defend itself against unjustified and unprovoked attacks."
