“After checking the quality indicators of raw materials, the company began accepting them into the oil transportation system for further transportation to the facilities of the Kremenchug oil refinery. Algerian oil will be transported via the Odesa-Kremenchug pipeline,” the company's press service says.
Ukrtransnafta already works with six other foreign oil companies: Urals, Azeri Light, Bakken, El Sharara, WTI. Saharan Blend will be seventh.
The press service of Ukrtransnafta informs that the acceptance of Algerian oil into the oil transportation system was started after checking the quality indicators of raw materials. Then Saharan Blend will be transported to the Kremenchug refinery.
Since the beginning of 2021, Ukrainian refineries have transported 951.2 thousand tons of raw materials. Transportation via the Odessa-Kremenchug pipeline amounted to 381.6 thousand tons.
