Ukraine and Germany have intensified cooperation in the agricultural sector

Ukraine and Germany signed a memorandum of cooperation in four sectors of the economy. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Association of Business and Trade.

The document was signed on May 17, in Kyiv. The memorandum was signed by the Ukrainian Association of Business and Trade (UBTA) and the German Federal Association of Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA). On behalf of UBTA, the memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Board of the Association Dmitry Los, on behalf of BWA - the President of the Association Thomas Zapper.

The document provides for strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and Germany in the following areas: agriculture, engineering, construction, and innovative technologies.

"BWA has a long history of successful work with the CIS countries, Central and Eastern Europe. I am extremely pleased to deepen our cooperation with Ukraine, and we hope that in the future Ukraine will open for Germany as a country with great invest.com/investing-in-ukraine/business-opportunities/" rel="dofollow">opportunities," Schumann said, adding that BWA looks forward to a full partnership with UBTA.

In turn, Dmitry Los noted that from now on Ukrainian and German entrepreneurs have a basis for exchanging ideas on current issues and trends in economic cooperation between Kyiv and Berlin.

"In the conditions of quarantine restrictions on business trips between Ukraine and European countries, such contacts acquire special value," he said.
