The ministers agreed to hold political consultations with the foreign ministries in the near future. They also exchanged invitations to exchange visits. Dmytro Kuleba and Retno Marsudi discussed steps to increase bilateral trade.

“We are interested in significantly expanding the range of Ukrainian exports to the Indonesian market, which we also consider as a platform for the expansion of Ukrainian goods to other countries in Southeast Asia. In the same way, Ukraine can become a bridge for Indonesian goods to enter the markets of Eastern Europe,” said Dmytro Kuleba.

Bilateral trade between Ukraine and Indonesia in 2020 amounted to $ 1.01 billion: Ukrainian exports amounted to $ 735.6 million, and imports in 2020 - $ 278 million.
