The Ukrainian side considers the most promising areas for bilateral cooperation as IT sphere, agriculture, industry, energy and energy efficiency, as well as the continuation of cooperation in tourism and space.
"Ukraine is interested in attracting foreign investment. Now a number of legislative initiatives have been adopted to improve the investment climate. In particular, laws on state support of projects with the attraction of large foreign investments of more than €20 million, the introduction of industrial parks, state-private partnership. There is a wide range of spheres that might interest the business community. And when we talk about investment, we mean not only money but also innovation, technology and human capital," said Lyubchenko during an online meeting with the UAE minister of state for foreign trade, Tani bin Ahmed Al Zeyudia.
We are ready to start working in all the defined directions. We are waiting for information and are ready to start developing a clear program to deepen our relations in economic issues," said the UAE minister of foreign trade.
Tani bin Ahmed Al Zeidi is interested in the investment policy of Ukraine and asked to provide the Emirati side with exhaustive information about the government programs to support investments.
During the meeting, the sides discussed Ukraine's participation in the World Expo 2020, which will begin its work in autumn in Dubai.
