Ukraine Became Part of the “EU4Health” Program

On July 15, Ukraine became a part of the EU program, which opens up access to funding for advanced healthcare methods and technologies in Ukraine

Today Ukrainian minister of health Viktor Liashko and European commissioner for health Stella Kyriakides signed an agreement on Ukraine's partnership in EU4Health.

"The total program budget for 2021-2027 is 5.3 billion. Public authorities, non-governmental organizations, small and medium-sized businesses will be able to receive funding for healthcare improvement projects on equal terms, as well as their counterparts from the EU member states, Norway and Iceland," press service of the Ministry of the health of Ukraine.

According to representatives of the Ministry, membership in EU4Health will transform Ukraine's healthcare system in accordance with European standards and prepare this area of ​​Ukraine for joining the European Union.
