According to Ukrgaztrans, the volume of gas collected this season is more than 35 times that of last year and the highest for the previous 7 years — 13.2 billion m³. The season's positive price situation was displayed: difference in gas quotations in summer and winter periods and advantageous tariffs for gas storage in Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities.
"For the first time, Ukrainian gas storage facilities were working to provide heating season not only in Ukraine, but also in EU countries, because the gas in our underground was stored, and continues to be stored, by dozens of non-resident companies," CEO of Ukrtransgaz Serhii Pereloma.
In Ukrainian gas storage in the Customs warehouse regime, 4.6 billion m³ of gas from foreign traders are stored. This is four times higher than last year. Another 34 billion m³ are stored in the short-haul mode.
