DELTA System Export Request
Chernogorenko confirmed that Ukraine received a request from one of its closest NATO allies to export the DELTA military system. She did not disclose the name of the requesting country but emphasized the importance of the partnership:
“This is one of our warmest partners who helps us significantly with various types of weapons. We are very proud that our national IT system is attracting international interest,” she noted.
Currently, Ukrainian officials are working on creating an export model and considering licensing options. Once an intergovernmental agreement is concluded, the deal will be publicly announced.
What Is the DELTA System?
The DELTA system, often referred to as "Google for the military," is a cutting-edge battlefield management platform. Its core module, Deltamonitor, provides:
-
A real-time digital map displaying the positions of friendly and enemy forces.
-
Integration of data from sensors, radars, trackers, and drones.
-
A secure communication channel for verified users.
-
Video analysis capabilities for processing drone and camera footage, with built-in artificial intelligence that automatically highlights enemy equipment.
The system enables Ukrainian forces to make faster and more informed decisions during combat operations.
Broader Defense Cooperation and Development
Ukraine's defense industry continues to expand cooperation with international partners:
-
Ukraine has received a license from the Czech Republic to produce CZ Bren 2 assault rifles domestically. Production has already begun under the Ukrainian "Sich" brand, and deliveries to the army are expected soon.
-
Lithuania plans to allocate €10 million to support the production of long-range Ukrainian weapons, with negotiations ongoing for an additional investment package.
These developments signal Ukraine’s growing role not just as a recipient of defense aid, but as an emerging global defense technology partner.
