Ukraine Imposed Sanctions Against Putin and 34 Top Ru Officials

From the moment the sanctions against this circle of persons are adopted, they will be valid indefinitely

By decree of president Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a package of sanctions was adopted against Putin, Lavrov, Peskov, Patrushev, Mishustin, Shoigu and other "court officials" involved in the war against Ukraine.

The main sanctions against officials:

  • Blocking of assets and property;
  • Prevention of the withdrawal of capital from Ukraine;
  • Prohibition of crossing the Ukrainian border, entry into the territorial waters and airspace of Ukraine;
  • Prohibition on operations with securities;
  • Refusal to grant visas;
  • Deprivation of state awards of Ukraine;
  • A ban on the use of Ukrainian radio frequencies;
  • A prohibition on privatization and lease of property in Ukraine;
  • Termination of the provision of electronic communication services;
  • Technology transfer ban;
  • Prohibition of land ownership, etc.

The list of sanctions covers 35 people who commit genocide against Ukraine. The decree comes into force from the moment of publication and is valid indefinitely.
