BGV and Veolia plan infrastructure and energy projects in Ukraine

The memorandum covers water systems, renewables, waste management and community modernization

BGV Group Management and Veolia Holding Ukraine have signed a memorandum on strategic cooperation in infrastructure, energy and waste management. The document brings together a Ukrainian investment group and an international operator with long experience in water, waste and energy services.

The partners plan to identify projects, prepare investment expertise and move selected initiatives toward implementation. The areas include water supply, wastewater treatment, renewable energy, waste-to-energy projects and municipal infrastructure modernization.

Why the format matters

For Ukrainian communities, the value is not only capital. The partnership can combine local investment capacity with engineering, operating and environmental expertise.

Veolia has worked in Ukraine for more than two decades, while BGV is positioning the agreement as a practical tool for long-term recovery projects.

The reconstruction agenda is shifting from simple repair toward systems that are cleaner, more efficient and easier for communities to operate.

The real test will be project selection: prepared sites, clear financing models and infrastructure that residents can actually use.
