Ukraine Launches “Army+” Application for Military Personnel

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially launched the “Army+” application, a new digital tool aimed at simplifying the administrative work of military personnel

This initiative was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi during the program's presentation.

Key Features of "Army+"

Initial Functions

  • Electronic Reports: The app allows users to submit electronic reports quickly and efficiently, significantly reducing the time required compared to traditional methods.
  • ArmyID Integration: The application includes ArmyID, providing a seamless way to manage identification and access various military services.
  • Surveys: A feature for conducting surveys to assess the real-time provision status of military units.

President Zelenskyi emphasized that these are just the initial functions of the app. As with the "Diya" application, which has been continually updated with new features, "Army+" will also be expanded with additional capabilities.

Future Enhancements

The president highlighted the ultimate goal of the app: to eliminate slow paperwork processes and outdated bureaucracy, allowing commanders and soldiers to focus more on their duties rather than administrative tasks.

Defense Minister Rustem Umyerov reiterated this vision, stating that the Ministry of Defense aims to create an ecosystem that simplifies and clarifies the life of military personnel. Future updates to "Army+" will also include services for military families, enhancing support for those who serve.

Integration with "Reserve+"

In addition to "Army+", the Ministry of Defense continues to expand the functionality of the "Reserve+" application. Recent updates to "Reserve+" include the ability to upload current reservation data to the electronic military registration document. It was also reported that some conscripts now have a special mark in the "Reserve+" app confirming the updating of their data.

Conclusion

The launch of "Army+" marks a significant step towards modernizing and streamlining the administrative processes within the Ukrainian military. By reducing the time spent on paperwork and bureaucracy, the application aims to enhance efficiency and improve the overall experience for military personnel. As the app continues to evolve, it promises to provide even more comprehensive support to both servicemen and their families.
