Head of the international policy bureau of Poland, Marcin Przydacz, reported live to the Polish radio MF FM24 that the process of transferring the MiG-29 fighters has been completed.
"Several MiG-29s have already been delivered to Ukraine, they are already helping Ukraine in defence of the country... According to my information, this process of transferring the first part has already been completed," Marcin Przydacz.
The planes that Ukraine received were on the balance sheet of the Armed Forces of Poland but were not used and were waiting for repair. Ukraine, on the other hand, has the necessary capabilities to bring these fighters into combat readiness. To replace the Soviet MiG-29, Poland purchased American F-35 and 48 South Korean FA-50 aircraft.
We remind you that Poland and Slovakia agreed to transfer a batch of 33 MiG-29s to Ukraine. Of them previously, 20 from Poland and 13 from Slovakia.
